Trick-or-Treaters made their way to the Chamber’s new office location at the Heritage Building. The Chamber hosted 5 businesses from Redstone Shopping Center and environs on its front patio. Participating businesses were Liberty Bay Credit Union, Uno Fresco, Excelsior Realty Group, Yoga Moves and The Arbors at Stoneham.

Step 1 of the Oct. 1 Stoneham Town Center Vision & Action Plan Open House asked attendees where they lived, where they worked and how they got to work. Step 2 asked attendees to watch a video summary of the findings from the Stoneham Market Analysis and Existing Conditions Report recently completed by the Massachusetts Area Planning Council (MAPC).

Despite the rain, the Oct. 1 Stoneham Town Center Vision & Action Plan Open House drew a large turnout. The intent of the meeting was to gather input from the public to help shape the community’s vision for economic development and growth in Stoneham’s Town Center. The format asked attendees to provide input in an easy 5-step walk-through.

Representatives from the “Education” careers panel at the Nov. 14 Career Awareness Forum present information about their fields to Stoneham High School Juniors. Panelists included Kristie Colwell of The Purpose School (preschool education), Lisa Demoulias (educational consulting), Colleen Durkin of KinderCare (day care center and preschool education), and Nicole Dillon of Stoneham High School (guidance counseling). This panel was one of 6 panels, totaling 35 different occupations presented to Juniors at the forum.
