Requirements for Mardi Gras 2012 Program Advertisement
In order to guarantee a good quality reproduction of your advertisement, these are the minimum submittal requirements:
Black and white, no color please
Artwork for ads - Scanned or created at 133 ppi resolution
Full-page 5.5”w x 8.5”h 825w x 1275h pixels
Half-page 5.5”w x 4.25”h 825w x 638h pixels
¼ page horizontal 5.5”w x 2.125”h 825w x 319h pixels
¼ page vertical 2.75”w x 4.25”h 413w x 638h pixels
1/8th page 2.75”w x 2.125”h 413w x 283h pixels
Higher resolution artwork i.e. 300 ppi is no problem, as is larger artwork, as long as the aspect ratio (width x height) stays within the boundaries of the chosen size of the advertisement.
Acceptable file formats are: .jpg .png .gif .eps .tiff
Acceptable Media: CD-R; CD-RW; DVD-R; DVD+R; DVD-RW; DVD+RW or Email Attachment
Advertisements in any other format (i.e. hard copy, use of last year’s ad) will be accepted, but will not be retouched or altered in any way other than to size it according to the above requirements.
Just a note – the quality of the artwork you supply will determine the quality of your ad in the book. Our goal is to make your company look its very best, and you can assist us in that endeavor by providing us with an ad that meets the above guidelines.
